Confiscated Items on Return
We’re all aware that there are certain items you can and cannot take onboard an aircraft. However, it can be easy to get caught out, meaning that you may have to give up some of your belongings before being allowed to go through security.
If you’ve had your items confiscated at airport security control, we can help. Instead of surrendering your belongings and throwing them in the waste bin at security, you can bring them to us and we’ll take care of the rest.
Simply visit our outlet at London Luton Airport with your prohibited item and place it into one of our envelopes before depositing it into the bin provided. You’ll be given a reference number and your item will then be logged by a member of staff.
Once you have deposited your item, you have 30 days to retrieve it. You can choose to have your item delivered to an address in the UK or Europe, or you can collect it upon your return to the airport.
To have your belongings delivered to an address of your choice, you’ll need to use your reference number to log it onto our system. Your item will then be collected within approximately 2 days. If it’s being sent to a UK address, you can expect it to be delivered within 2 days, while European deliveries can take between 3 and 5 days.
Alternatively, you can arrange to collect your belongings upon your return to London Luton Airport. We’ll keep your item safe at our Left Luggage outlet until you’re ready to pick it up.
